Friday, July 16, 2010 The 50th Reunion was a tremendous success. The largest group of our Classmates since Graduation – about 391 - got together to connect and reconnect. Kudos to the Alumni and Development staffs for their assistance in planning and executing the 2010 Reunion, particularly for the Class of 1960. Keep in mind that as new members of the 50 Year Club, our Classmates are invited to attend the reunions annually. We hope to be there in 2011. Mark your calendar for June 2 -5, 2011. http://1960.undclass.org Our final Class gift was almost $17 million, well above our goal of $15 million. Congrats to all classmates for this superb show of generosity to our dear Notre Dame. Nearly 75% of our classmates participated in the gift. Our Class of 60 Scholarship Fund was a goal of our class gift and is now at about $3.5 million vs about $150 k in 2007. The Fund has recently been supporting four students. A very special thank you to the committee and classmate volunteers who made the Reunion a success. Special commendations to Tracy and Ted McCourtney, and Dick Corbett for their extraordinary gifts to Notre Dame. There are presently 33 on the LOST LIST and 235 on the DECEASED LIST Check out the latest on our Class Website (http://1960.undclass.org ) Please add this site to your "Favorites" in your web browser so that you are able to return here with only one click.
